    The Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum was built by Merton Russell-Cotes as a gift for his wife, Annie, and celebrates their passion for art, travel, world cultures, and natural history. The house is richly furnished and filled with a remarkable collection of British art and sculpture, as well as beautiful objects from their travels across the world. The museum offers a special exhibitions program, talks, tours, and events, as well as a Japanese-inspired garden and a venue for weddings and hire. The gallery and museum is open Tuesday - Sunday 10am -5pm, with the outdoor Terrace Cafe open Tuesday - Sunday 11am-4pm. The museum is an eccentric Art Nouveau-style setting for a private Victorian art collection and temporary exhibitions.
