Business Description
Dunwich Museum is a small independent museum that is maintained by volunteers and donations from visitors. It tells the story of the medieval town on the Suffolk coast that was lost to the sea, and now exists as a small village. The museum houses a collection of artefacts from Roman times onwards, as well as an evocative model of the large medieval town. Visitors can also watch a 3-minute version of a 45-minute film about the town's history. The museum is family-friendly and welcomes all ages, offering an informative and dramatic story of coastal change. It is a small museum with a big story that is well worth a visit.
