Wirral Transport Museum & Heritage Tramway

Wirral Transport Museum & Heritage Tramway is a working museum and running tramway preserving Buses, Trams & other Local Transport Related Vehicles. The museum has won the Wirral Tourism Awards 2017 and offers a collection of preserved Wirral Buses, ongoing restoration projects, and a fully restored tram ride. The museum also houses a collection of local buses in running order, a group of cars and motorbikes from the Baxter Collection, and a 27-foot long model railway layout. The tramway collection was set up in collaboration with volunteers from Merseyside Tramway Preservation Society. The museum is situated approximately from the Mersey Ferry service at Woodside, Birkenhead, England, and offers free admission.
