Business Description
The Wings Museum is a registered charity run by dedicated volunteers, located in a large "hangar" style building between Balcombe and Handcross. Originally based at Redhill Aerodrome, the museum is now dedicated to remembering and recording the history of the aerodrome. The museum features original memorabilia associated with the station, as well as a comprehensive collection of photographs and a book of remembrance listing pilots who lost their lives during World War Two. The museum also displays a variety of original memorabilia representing different themes related to the war, and aims to educate future generations about the sacrifices made by armed forces during World War Two. The museum is a growing and active organization, and welcomes visitors to explore its exhibits.
