The organization's mission is to give young people the opportunity to develop their potential, understand themselves and others, enjoy life, and contribute positively to the world. WHYP operates a weekly youth center program, enhanced by off-site activities and offers accreditation opportunities through various award schemes. The organization also generates income through renting its premises and delivering outdoor activities. WHYP's accessible town center location is vital to its success, providing life-changing experiences for many young people in an isolated and deprived part of West Cumbria.
