  Bad advice! Came in here to buy everything for a Yellow bellied terrapin. Although John tried to be helpful, he didn’t know the species and assumed they were the same as other terrapins and gave me the wrong advice, even arguing with me! He referred to Musk terrapins, advising ALL terrapins needed to be able to stand up in water. This is absolutely not the case for Yellow bellied, who are swimmers and need 18inches of water. I would have preferred he admit he didn’t know, rather than argue with me and be totally wrong. Luckily I had done my research and found an experienced person at Cadbury, who had kept Yellow bellies and knew them inside out. More training needs to be done to stop the generalisation and bad advice. The whole experience was an unpleasant one and we will not return, ever.
