The UK Cypriot Fertility Association was founded in 2008 by NHS consultants to assist UK couples in accessing egg donation in Cyprus. The clinic offers guidance and support for couples seeking egg donation abroad, coordinating treatment with clinics in Cyprus and completing the initial part of the treatment in the UK to shorten the stay abroad. The organization also provides support for couples seeking gender selection for family balancing, ensuring the safety of patients throughout the process. While the UKCFA does not encourage gender selection for social reasons, they can legally oversee the initial IVF part of PGD cycles before couples travel to Cyprus for egg collection.
