    Business Description

    "Mrs Lowry and Son" is a new drama from BAFTA-nominated writer Martyn Hesford, set in 1934 and focusing on the relationship between L.S. Lowry and his bedridden mother. The play explores the artist's struggle for recognition and his creative process, while also shedding light on the oddities of life. Directed by Abbey Wright and featuring set and costume design by Richard Kent, the play will be part of the offerings at the newly restored Trafalgar Theatre, set to open in Spring 2021.
