Tony Tomlinson is a passionate photographer with a deep connection to the rugged countryside and beautiful light of Scotland. His goal is to create simple images that convey the feeling and emotion of a subject, whether it be landscape, seascape, or objects. He strives to see the beauty and form in everything around him and aims to convey that in his imagery. Tony primarily works with digital equipment but also utilizes a 1956 twin lens Rolleiflex to create black and white images with a timeless nostalgia. His work is influenced by classic photographers such as Jacques Henri Lartigue, and he hopes that his body of work will tell the story of his life. Tony's ultimate goal is to create images that touch the soul and evoke emotion in the viewer.
