The Tintagel Old Post Office is a 14th-century stone house with over 600 years of history, continually redeveloped and repurposed throughout the centuries. Originally serving as a family farm, it later operated as a drapers, grocers, and shoe-makers, and eventually as a letter receiving station during the Victorian period. The building now houses Victorian postal equipment, samplers, and furniture dating back to the 16th century, and offers a beautiful back garden for visitors to retreat to. The Old Post Office hosts various events throughout the year, making it an attraction for everyone. Acquired by the National Trust in 1903, this historic property is one of the Trust's most delightful medieval buildings, offering an atmospheric experience for visitors.
