Business Description
The Three Daws is one of the oldest taverns in the country, with a history dating back to 1565. Originally converted from five traditional wood-fronted cottages, the building is believed to be even older, possibly dating back to at least 1501. The tavern has a rich history as a popular haunt for river men, smugglers, and sailors, and has survived numerous fires and closures over the centuries. Today, it is owned by Mr. Lester Banks and has been sympathetically restored to its original charm and character. The pub offers home-cooked meals, perfectly served ales, and live music, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
