The Westwood Sessions was developed by Beverley Folk Festival youth co-ordinator Denise Delahay, with the help of local students and event professionals, to provide young artists with a platform to showcase their talent. The project has been successful in providing performance opportunities at various events and also offers on-the-job experience for budding technicians. The Westwood Restaurant, located in the grounds of Beverley’s old courthouse, offers simple yet stylish food in a relaxed environment, using high quality, locally sourced ingredients. Run by twins Matthew and Michele Barker, The Westwood has been recognized in various restaurant guides and offers a modern British dining experience in a historic setting.
