    The West Riding Stonecarving Association, founded in September 2010 in Halifax West Yorkshire, aims to preserve the traditional art of hand carving stone by providing educational courses in a well-equipped workshop space. Located in the basement of Shaw Lodge Mills in Halifax, the Association offers one-day and two-day courses, as well as a foundation course for beginners. Their goal is to bring the art of stone carving to the general public and they welcome new members to join their efforts in keeping this traditional art form alive.
