The Tall Ship at Riverside offers free entry and is open from 10am-5pm (Last admission 4.30pm), 7 days a week. Visitors can experience life on the high seas by exploring the galley, ringing the bell, and delving into the ship's history. The Glenlee is one of only five Clydebuilt steel sailing ships still afloat, and the only one in the UK. It is an 1896 three-masted barque now open as a museum ship, offering exhibitions, a cinema, a cafe, and the opportunity to join the rat-hunt. The ship also hosts school or group visits and functions, and operates a programme of year-round maritime themed events and activities.
