The Stone Jug is a 16th century building turned pub in the early 1900's, now run by a family since 1981. Situated on the fringes of the Greensand Ridge Walk, it is a popular spot for ramblers and dog walkers, with dogs welcome in the pub. The establishment prides itself on serving quality real ales and home cooked lunches, with a rotating selection of guest ales. The pub is open Tuesday-Saturday from 12-2pm.
