    The Rum Story is an interactive museum and cafe located in Whitehaven, England. Visitors can explore Caribbean-themed exhibits, learn about the history of rum and the Jefferson's family trading past, and even visit a replica rainforest in the museum! After exploring the historical rum cellars and warehouses of 1785, visitors can relax in the Jefferson's gift shop, where they can purchase artisan produce and gifts. Visitors can enjoy a sip of traditional rum to celebrate their journey and learn about the terrible history of slave trading in the area. There are also teas, coffees and other drinks, as well as cakes, to create a more intimate experience. The Rum Story is certainly worth visiting and has even been used in TV dramas and period films!
