The Red Lion is a family-run 15th Century Freehouse offering a range of freshly cooked dishes using locally sourced ingredients such as fish from Hastings & Rye, meat from Bexhill, and wild mushrooms from Brede High Woods. They also serve real ales from independent family brewers and their own specially brewed beer, "Lion Brew," from Rother Valley Brewing Company. The 15th-century inn provides a cozy atmosphere with low, beamed ceilings and bare brick, and specializes in local fish dishes and seafood platters.
