Business Description
The Rat Trap is a pub located on Highworth Road in Stratton St Margaret, known for its all-day opening and home-cooked food. The pub serves an extensive menu and specials Monday-Saturday from 12-2pm and 5-9pm, and famous roast dinners with Yorkshire pudding on Sundays from 12-4pm. The pub earned its nickname when landlady Fanny Stroud locked customers in on pay day until they settled their accounts, leading to the locals calling it The Rat Trap.
