    The Queens Head is an independent and family-run 16th century traditional country pub situated in the heart of Downe Village, a convenient drive or bus journey away from Orpington and Bromley. The pub has three small restaurants, a small snug bar and a public bar (the Darwin Bar, named after Charles Darwin). During the winter, log fires can be found roaring in the Darwin Bar, accompanied by leather Chesterfields, a piano, and a darts board. The Queens Head also provides a large walled patio and garden area perfect for the warmer months.
