The Night Kitchen

The Night Kitchen is a reimagined club space in Sheffield, created by the CADS team and Party For The People. Inspired by the building's history and Maurice Sendak's book, the venue aims to provide a space for aural, visual, and emotional pleasures. The project is funded by the National Lottery and aims to engage socially excluded young people through creative workshops. Working with charitable organizations and volunteers, the project plans to transform the venue into an imaginary world and showcase inspired art. The project has already begun working with Silent Cities and selected artist Joseph Adams to kickstart the redecoration of the venue. The use of reclaimed timber and volunteer-led sculptures will contribute to the immersive theme of Kitchen City. The project will culminate in a two-week long exhibition showcasing various art forms.
