The New Art Gallery Walsall is a modern and contemporary art gallery located in the centre of Walsall, England. It was built with £21 million of public funding, including £15.75 million from the UK National Lottery and additional money from the European Regional Development Fund and City Challenge. The gallery presents, collects, and interprets historic and contemporary art in innovative and challenging ways to engage and entertain existing and future audiences. Admission to the gallery is free, and it features the permanent Garman Ryan collection, including works by Van Gogh and Monet, as well as contemporary exhibitions, adult and family events, workshops, and talks. The building is architecturally innovative and offers free entry to changing solo and group visual arts exhibits.
