Business Description

The Museums Association, established in 1889, is the oldest museums association in the world, dedicated to promoting inclusive, participatory, and socially engaged museums at the heart of their communities. With a membership of more than 15,000 museum professionals, the association provides advocacy, professional development, and practical guidance. Independently funded by its diverse membership, the association aims to enhance the value of museums to society by sharing knowledge, developing skills, inspiring innovation, and providing leadership. Additionally, the association advocates for museums, sets ethical standards, and offers essential training and professional development opportunities. The association's annual conference is Europe's largest event for museum and heritage professionals.
