The Mulberry Bush is a not-for-profit charity that includes The Mulberry Bush School, a non-maintained residential special school with a three-year programme for vulnerable and severely traumatised primary aged children and their families from across England and Wales. The school runs for 38-weeks a year and also consists of The Mulberry Bush Outreach, an outreach and training department, and The International Centre for Therapeutic Care. The school works with children who have severe social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, often due to experiences of trauma, and The Mulberry Bush Outreach aims to collaborate with education, social care, and health providers to develop outstanding outcomes for vulnerable children. The International Centre for Therapeutic Care is a free alliance focused on sharing knowledge and supporting the use of reflective practice and research to improve service quality and outcomes for children and young people in therapeutic residential and foster care.
