The Monastery Manchester, designed by acclaimed architect EW Pugin for the Franciscan Order, was abandoned in 1989 and left derelict until a Charitable Trust raised over £.5m to restore the buildings. Now owned and operated by the Trust, the Gothic venue is a popular setting for events, weddings, and public visits. Open to the public Sunday to Thursday, 10am to 4pm, it is a magnificent Grade II* listed heritage building and a unique and inspiring venue available to hire.
