Business Description

The Hellfire Caves are a network of man-made chalk and flint caverns excavated between 1748 and 1752 for Sir Francis Dashwood. Located above the village of West Wycombe, the caves were originally intended to relieve local unemployment and provide material for a new main road. The quarter-mile underground tunnels and caves are now a popular tourist attraction and offer a spooky family day out.
