Business Description
The HEAT Project is a free energy advice service funded by the Safe Deposits Scotland Charitable Trust and Ofgem’s Energy Redress fund. Based in North and East Perthshire, including Coupar Angus, Blairgowrie and Rattray, Pitlochry, Dunkeld and Birnam, the project provides impartial advice to help households, private landlords, and tenants reduce energy bills and meet Scottish Government Energy Efficiency Targets. The team offers guidance on insulation, alternative heating systems, and other energy-saving measures. Since its inception, the project has assisted over 700 households in achieving significant energy savings and has helped over 65 households clear over £31,000 of energy debt through the Scottish Government Home Heating Fund.
