The Dorothy Clive Garden was created by Colonel Harry Clive in 1940 as a series of walks for his ailing wife, Dorothy. After her passing, Colonel Clive continued to develop the garden, eventually entrusting its management to The Willoughbridge Garden Trust in 1958. The trust aims to maintain, enhance, and develop the garden for public enjoyment, as well as promote horticultural education. The 12-acre garden features diverse areas of interest, including a winter garden, edible woodland, and notable plant collections. The trust's dedicated staff and volunteers are committed to providing visitors with a stimulating and fulfilling experience.
