Business Description
The Clink Cymru is a stylish fine-dining restaurant run by prison inmates, offering a memorable dining experience while also providing prisoners with real work experience and the opportunity to gain City & Guilds NVQs in food preparation and service. The restaurant aims to reduce reoffending rates by changing public perception and providing prisoners with the skills and support needed to secure full-time employment upon their release. With 30 prisoners working a 40-hour week in the kitchen or restaurant, each diner who visits The Clink Restaurant helps to create a true-to-life working environment that is essential for the rehabilitation of the prisoners. The restaurant is also available for exclusive hire and offers a private area for meetings, events, and private dining.
