Business Description

The Blairs Museum is a gothic building overlooking the river Dee at Riverside of Blairs, offering a unique insight into Scotland's history and heritage. The museum features permanent exhibitions on Mary Queen of Scots and the Jacobites, as well as a special exhibition for 2019 of Piranesi’s prints of Rome. The museum also offers a new display of vestments worn by Bonnie Prince Charlie’s brother Cardinal Henry Ben. Open on Fridays and Saturdays by pre-booked ticket only, the museum is located only 4 miles from Aberdeen, off the South Deeside Rd. Additionally, the museum is hosting a new exhibition for 2021, ‘Capparoni and the Papal Court’, featuring hand-coloured nineteenth century engravings by Giuseppe Capparoni.
