The Auckland Project is a heritage, arts, and faith destination in Bishop Auckland, North East England, focused on revitalizing the town through employment, training, and educational opportunities. It includes Auckland Castle, Auckland Tower, the Mining Art Gallery, Spanish Gallery, Faith Museum, and Deer Park. The project was initiated by Jonathan Ruffer, who purchased a series of paintings by Spanish artist Francisco de Zurbaran in 2012. Office hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, at Vinovium House, Saddler Street, Bishop Auckland, DL14 7BH.
