Business Description

Sidlaws and the Ochils, as well as Moncreiffe Hill and lower Strathearn. We have received a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to help us explore the possibilities for reconnecting with the natural and built heritage of this area. Throughout 2012, we will be engaging with communities and organizations to determine which features or aspects of the landscape are most important to them. Some exciting projects have already been suggested by our partners and stakeholders, including excavating Iron Age hill forts, restoring historic orchards, and developing new path networks. We hope local people will become actively involved in practical activities and training opportunities. Our main objective during the development phase is to present a compelling case for further investment when we submit our next funding application in early 2013.
