Stonor Park is one of England’s oldest manor houses, owned by the same family for over 850 years. Recently listed as number 7 on Visit Britain's list of the Top 25 most magnificent stately homes and manor houses, it is now home to Wonder Woods, a new adventure play park. The house contains a remarkable collection of portraits, stained glass, old Master Drawings, European Bronzes, and an early 19th century wallpaper of Paris. The park, with its famous herd of fallow deer, is open year-round and offers stunning views of the house and surrounding countryside. Stonor Park is closely associated with St. Edmund Campion, and visitors can see the rooms where he printed a pamphlet in secret. With events, an adventure playground, and a rich history, Stonor Park offers a great family day out in the Chilterns.
