SS Nomadic, one quarter the size of the Titanic, was built using the same steel and rivets by the same people in Harland and Wolff Belfast. The ship carried many famous people to the Titanic and continued as a tender to other ocean liners. It also served as a troop carrier in World War One, a mine sweeper in World War Two, and a floating restaurant and nightclub in Paris. Now restored to her original glory, SS Nomadic is the only remaining White Star Line vessel in the world and offers visitors a chance to experience over 100 years of authentic maritime and social history.
