Business Description

South Nightclub is Manchester's original underground basement dive club founded by Paul Cons, the promotions manager of the Hacienda, in 1995. Proudly independent, South was created as an antidote to the then-popular superclubs, providing a small and dark environment that begs not to be judged. The club has even debuted several seminal nights, such as The Glory Hole, Rinky Dink, Board, and The Rock+Roll Bar, as well as hosting Clint Boon's Disco Rescue. South has been recently redesigned by Ben Kelly, the original designer of the Hacienda, and features a huge Funktion One Sound System. Open since 1995, South Nightclub continues to be a frontrunner in the industry, throwing cutting-edge parties from its Manchester location.
