Business Description
The Somerset Brick and Tile Museum showcases the history of brick and tile making in Somerset, with a focus on the only remaining traditional brick kiln in the South West. The museum is located at the former Barham Brothers' Yard in Bridgwater and features a variety of bricks, tiles, and other wares that have shaped the look of Somerset towns. The kiln is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and was preserved from destruction in the 1990s. The museum is open on Tuesdays from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm and admission is by advance booking only.
