Social Audit Network

The Social Audit Network (SAN) promotes the use of social accounting and audit processes for organizations in the UK, with a focus on the community, social economy, and public sectors. SAN offers training workshops and maintains a list of registered auditors to assist organizations in submitting their social accounts for verification. The organization holds regular meetings, events, and an annual conference, and provides resources through a monthly circular and website. The SAN Board of Directors work in a voluntary capacity and are supported by a contracted management and administrative service. Membership is open to both ordinary members and social auditor members who pay an annual fee. SAN aims to help organizations prove, improve, and account for their social, environmental, and economic performance and impact.
