Social Action for Health is a community development charity that operates mainly across a range of London Boroughs. They train local people to work with their community in their mother tongue, including Bengali, Somali, Turkish, Kurdish, Tamil, Gujarati, Urdu, Arabic, Nepalese, Bangla, Polish, Vietnamese and English. Their work is guided by four values: starting with the people, promoting the right to take control of their own lives, improving health by addressing social issues, and advocating for healthy communities for the benefit of society as a whole.
