Shoreham Airport Collection is the oldest licensed airport in the UK and is located in the town of Shoreham-by-Sea. Boasting an iconic Art Deco building, visitors are encouraged to experience the airport atmosphere and learn about the site's rich history. Visitors can watch planes taking off and landing, experience educational visits and tours, and enjoy a good meal or coffee in the in-house restaurant. The airport's 2020 Annual Pioneer Run for veteran motorcycle's on 22nd March also adds to its appeals. Although there is no dedicated walking pathway, visitors should expect a relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, visitors should take time to visit the airport's visitor center full of historical displays and artifacts.
