Business Description

The Salisbury Cathedral is a prominent example of Early English architecture and is the main church of the Anglican Diocese of Salisbury in Wiltshire, England. It was largely built in just 38 years, from 1220 to 1258, to replace the Old Sarum Cathedral. The cathedral is known for having the tallest spire in the UK, as well as the largest cloister and close in the country. It houses the world's oldest working clock and one of the four surviving original copies of the Magna Carta. The decision to build the cathedral in its current location was made due to deteriorating relations between the clergy and military orders at Old Sarum. The cathedral offers tower tours and is home to historic artifacts such as the Magna Carta and a notable clock dating back to 1386.
