S1 Artspace is an artist-led organisation in Sheffield, providing open plan studio space for over twenty local artists and a project space hosting contemporary exhibitions, screenings, and events. The current exhibition is S1 Studio Holder Takeover, featuring short exhibitions, events, and open studios led by S1 Studio holders, including the Fine Art Bridge Scheme Interim exhibition by the 2019/20 bursary holders. Founded in 1995, S1 Artspace continues to adapt in response to shifts in current practice, and its studio holders include Alison J Carr, Ashley Holmes, Emily Musgrave, and others.
