Business Description
RSPB Rye Meads is a 58.5 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) known for its reedbeds, open water, and a scrape. The reserve, located beside the River Lee, is a popular destination for walkers, birdwatchers, and photographers, offering many trails and hides. As part of the UK's largest nature conservation charity, RSPB Rye Meads provides a year-round wildlife spectacle and plays a leading role in BirdLife International. The site features a visitor center, RSPB shop, refreshments, nature trails, and viewing areas, but dogs are not allowed on site due to the sensitive nature of the wildlife and habitats.
