Business Description

Founded in 1860, Macduff Lifeboat Station has been in operation since 1975 and is unique in the RNLI for using a mobile crane to launch their inshore lifeboat. The station is located in Macduff harbour, but has the ability to launch from other small harbours along the coast if needed. In addition to their life-saving operations, the station also operates a shop on site. Macduff Lifeboat Station operates an inshore B class Atlantic 85 lifeboat, currently the Lydia Macdonald.
