Rescare

Rescare is a national charity, registered with the Charity Commission, that aims to promote the relief and welfare of children and adults with learning disabilities and their families. It was founded in 1984 and has grown to represent the views and concerns of families and carers of persons with a learning disability. Rescare runs a telephone helpline and provides information, advice, and support through various channels. The charity has a history of campaigning for law change and contributing to consultations by government and other agencies. Rescare remains committed to its objectives and continues to campaign for proper provision in social care, health care, education, and residential/housing provision.
