Reading Museum offers a unique and diverse experience, with eleven hands-on galleries featuring a wide range of objects, including the Roman eagle from Silchester, Britain's Bayeux Tapestry, and the world's only biscuit gallery. Visitors can also enjoy changing exhibitions in the art gallery and a varied programme of events, activities, and concerts for all the family. The museum tells the story of Reading, from its Royal abbey to the famous Huntley & Palmers biscuit factory, and offers something for everyone, from local history to global artifacts.
