Business Description
The Railway Tavern is a historic pub located in Motherwell, Scotland. Originally built on land owned by the Caledonian Railway Company in 1848, the tavern has a rich history dating back to its early days as the "Railway Inn". Over the years, the business changed hands several times before being renamed "The Railway Tavern" by John Ballie. The tavern remained in the Ballie family until it was sold to Henry Clyde Gray in 1944. Since June 1982, the tavern has been successfully run by the current license holder, Pat Ross, and continues to be a popular establishment in the heart of Motherwell.
