The former pirate radio ship Ross Revenge is now home to Radio Caroline, broadcasting 24/7 from land-based studios and live from the ship one weekend per month. Visitors can tour the ship from West Mersea, Essex, with regular trips during live broadcast and non-broadcast dates led by Radio Caroline DJs. The Ross Revenge, a former fishing trawler, holds the record for the biggest catch and was active in the Icelandic Cod Wars before being acquired by Radio Caroline in the 1980s.
