Promenade Park is the largest waterside park in Essex, located just 40 miles from London. The park offers a family-friendly destination with a variety of events and activities throughout the year. Situated in the maritime town of Maldon, the park features a water Splash Park, beach huts for hire, sandpits, a galleon play ship, aerial zip-wire, model boating and crabbing lake, and several picnic areas. With over 500,000 visitors a year, the park offers amazing sea views over the Blackwater Estuary and hosts numerous events. It is a Victorian riverfront park with an ornamental lake, woodland walk, and kids' adventure play areas.
