"Ponies Help Children" is a charitable organization established in 2000 by the founder's mother, who retired from a Bed and Breakfast business and began rescuing horses and ponies. These animals, having been abused and now rehabilitated, are able to connect with children who need to learn to trust and love again. The organization partners with Hope for Autism to provide equine therapy for children on the autism spectrum, resulting in significant positive outcomes. The organization's primary objectives are to provide sanctuary and resources for the recovery of ponies and horses, as well as to offer equine therapy for children and adults with disabilities or emotional distress.
