Partisan

Partisan is an independent specialty coffee shop, restaurant, antique shop, and art gallery located in York's elegant Micklegate. They serve Monmouth coffee, Bluebird teas, homemade cakes, and fresh patisserie, with an all-day brunch and daily specials menu. The menu is inspired by the seasons and locally sourced produce, with a small farm outside York providing herbs, vegetables, and edible flowers. Partisan also offers a revolving list of artists showing in the restaurant and is open for evening service on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Their basement space is available for hire, and they have received a glowing review from The Yorkshire Post. They are known for their small, well-thought-out menu created by Head Chef James Gilroy and the unique combination of an antique shop and art gallery within the space.
