Parkstone Yacht Club regularly hosts World, National Championships and Open meetings for a variety of classes and is renowned for Poole Week, which is held each year in August, offering a week's Open Regatta racing for classes of Dinghy, and Parkstone Regatta for Cruisers. There is also the Youth section, offering training, racing and including Youth Week, very active fun days out on the water. The Club also has an active Cruising Section, which runs regular rallies off the coastal waters of Poole, and the Brittany coast is also a regular venue. Cruiser racing for all sizes of yachts can be offered on Mondays, Thursdays and at weekends. The Club runs Dinghy racing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, with large fleets enjoying competitive class racing. The facilities include large changing rooms with hot water showers, a Restaurant & Bar, and full-time staff to manage the site and offer services to members.
